Vintage matte gold clip on earrings with black glass cabochons, 1980s brutalist

For sale: Vintage 1980s matte gold plated clip on earrings with black glass cabochon centers. They are one of my favorite pairs in my current collection. The gold plating is in excellent condition, no noticeable wear or damage anywhere.

Purposeful irregularities and slight asymmetries give the illusion of heavy pure gold discs. Designer unknown, but in the vein of Edouard Rambaud or Norma Jean. Some rectangular markings on the backs make me think these may have been parts of a different piece of jewelry, repurposed (perhaps a bracelet or necklace).
